Some of the text I copy from other sites turns out to be black against a blackbackground. Red lines under the text indicate were the words are. I try to edit that via the Awith a drop Text Color-but with no succes. Any tips ? 

(I also did try transporting text to my own email -concepts and copy it from there-also not a succes often)

In the  top of the box you post in is a row of icons.  The 6th one along is an Ao.  

Highlight the dark text, click this icon and select a light grey from the selection offred - or any other colour you wish.

I take what I want to post from a news article or blog and paste it into Notepad, then I "select all" and "copy" from Notepad onto here...works great every time.

Problem may be in the backgroundcolor.....I am not very good with technics.....still learning ! I did it ! I can't believe I did it ;-) !

You first go over the text you want to change color-then go to the color change botton-and voilá !

IT IS NOT THAT HARD AT ALL ! 

JUST TESTING  OK

Have you tried black on black background?....When my son was a teen he changed the whole computer system (back in the Dos days) to that setting to see what happened. Then he couldn't see anything.   Rebooting did not help.

Luckily I knew enough about that operating system to know how to recover, just typing in without seeing any result until the end - it is just now with technology having moved so fast that I am now years out of date on what to do if computers develop problems.

EdwinSM, I did have training in the early 80's with "WordStar" (came before WordPerfect). Some experience with Exact-bookkeeping-most "computerlessons" in those days without any computer "flow chart" , "modern information processing" all in theory...computers were never my hobby-did read to much, worked with young children etc...so no real experience there. Later on wrote text with old photographs as a "documentalist"-they called it...

Nowadays read much more than write-there are already so many words-the world can do without mine.
