If these photos do not make you shudder...I dont know what will....yes, the cause is good...but...but....Today’s #BlackLivesMatter solidarity protest in Amsterdam. 

Something has changed, Tabitha.  Maybe pandemic driven, but something has definitely changed in the human consciousness ('scuse the airy fairy term).  This isn't going to just go away like all the other times.  

I am wondering if these photos are real? I mean we are in a pandemic and that many people are crowded together like this? Perhaps DutchJosh can comment and tell us if this is really happening there.

and by shudder...yes, I do understand the movement and support it...but all I can see when I look at these photos is coronavirus! Yikes!

Even if they had masks, I doubt they each had hand sanitizer to clean their hands, and more than half touched their faces or possibly could have it on their clothes and shoes.  Ugh.  I did see the article that Italy said they can no longer detect the disease....so maybe it is fizzling out....or maybe its stewing in someone like it did in 1918.  I can no longer tell which way this is going to go!

They had two bridges and a north-and south-side of the Maas-river in the demonstration area-with room for moor. Still that was not enough space-people did not spread enough and more people came. So the mayor ended this demonstration (but if the virus was still spreading it did find a good place to do so....)
