As the saying goes, "Love covers a multitude of sins", so the "word Pandemic covers a number of outcomes".   Near the beginning of this pandemic I saved a graphic showing how the USA's CDC defined 5 levels of pandemic.  

Sorry this is not showing up very well, but in terms of deaths the five levels are:

1   < 90,000

2   90,000 - 450,000

3   450,000 - 900,000

4  900,000 - 1,800,000

5  > 1,800,000

I realise that the population in the States has risen since 2006, but there might not be much change from the above rounded figures.  I also realise that mitigation measures have been taken (limited but some have been applied).

At present, by the definition of deaths, USA is at a level 2 Pandemic, and soon (within the couple of weeks) will move to a level 3 Pandemic situation.

Obviously the  Biden factor (covid will end now we have a democratic in the WH)

Was not part of that equation....

I think we will see case drop off as masks etc are implemented,but then when everyone starts to think it's safe.....

And relax a little 

Cases will explode ......

I wonder where we will be in 12 months ?
