Thanks, I think it may come down to that worldwide if this keeps up.

US infections of Delta variant are higher than they were at the early stages of the outbreak, and children are being proportionately infected.

I carry a laminated copy of my US CDC vaccination card in my wallet at all times.  It comes in handy at doctor & dentist appointments, where they scan it for my record.

I'm still interested in a mix & max booster, and since I had Moderna, I'd consider Pfizer for a booster.  That may confer advantages.

Covid passports are yet another way to curb our civil liberties. Since a vaccine neither stops you from getting covid, nor from giving it to other people, whether or not you've had one is irrelevant to public health. It only indicates that you are more likely to be asymptomatic and less likely to become seriously ill, and neither of those things have any positive relevance to society as a whole.

If anything, I think it would be best if aged care workers WEREN'T vaccinated for Covid so that they would be symptomatic and could then self isolate to protect those in their care.

KiwiMum, with all respect; CoViD is a bigger problem then vaccine passports..!

I am -still- against mandatory vaccinations. Yes vaccinated still have (around 50%) chance of infection-often resulting in (shorter) asymptomatic spread.

Vaccine passports should not be used to "dump" all other restrictions because those restrictions may do a better job then vaccines do. Still vaccine passports can also help limit the spread.

This pandemic is limiting "liberties" one way or the other...A lot of older, more vulnarable people limited their activities to limit the chance of infection.

If people do not want to get vaccinated such a choice has consequences during a pandemic. Not much to do with "civil liberties" much more with risk management...

A cousin of mine went to the theatre in London at the weekend and said no one was wearing a mask and it was a sell out performance. She wore one.
