Yesterday my father and I received out 3rd Pfizer vaccine. Hadn’t had a reaction to the first two but this one knocked me on my a*s. About 6 hours post shot, my arm was very sore, every muscle, joint, long bone was  yowling in pain. Even touching my skin hurt, then intense head and neck ache,a low grade fever of 99.6,which is high for me, my baseline is low, about 96.8.I held off taking Tylenol, rather have my body fight than to suppress my response.Needless to say I had a restless night.Checked my temp about 4 and it was 101.8,headache had not abated so I took Tylenol and fell asleep, thinking I’d feel better in a few hours. My symptoms had dulled a bit but still running fever of 100.2.My father is 93 and called him this morning, worrying that he also had a reaction but he was fine.  No response at his age concerns me that his immunity isn’t as robust.

How are you feeling now?

My cousin had such a strong pain reaction to his second Pfizer jab that he's debating whether to have his third or not. He had to be referred to a specialist and now, four months later is still on steroids for the reaction.

I once had a similar reaction to a vaccine - I think it was Yellow fever - to the one you're describing. I do remember my clothes had to be cut off as I couldn't move my arm to get my jumper off.

Hope you feel better soon.

Which vaccine, Pixie?  Pfizer or Moderna?  Or did you get one and your Dad got the other? I have read there are fewer problems with Moderna.  Which, BTW, is the shots I took.  Fine for the first one.  Knot on my arm and knocked on my butt with above normal fatigue for three or four days.  Otherwise.  I was fine.

Yes.  I would be concerned if my loved one was failing to show some kind of immune response.  Keep us posted.
