Deaths in the USA:  805,721

Cases in USA: 49,643,002

Population of the USA:  330,000,000

1.62% of people who were diagnosed with Covid-19 died.

But even more interesting, 0.24% of the entire population has died of Covid-19.  That is, in America, more than 1 out of every 500 people have died of Covid.
