Good find Usk. How very interesting. Hemorraghic fever is certainly one to watch, and China does have a track record of being secretive.....

also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthohantavirus or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthohantavirus - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthohantavirus was mentioned in Chinese media....

If China would like to keep everything a secret it would place itself outside the international science community...they are trying to get into that community-also via lots of Chinese students in other countries, some non-Chinese students in China...

Part of "China keeping things secret" may be in the fact a lot of studies are in Manderin-Chinese...not in English. But looking at Chinese CoViD (deaths) statistics China simply is NOT open.

CIA propaganda. Their puppet now in the White House remembers when he and his crony (Obama, the Arab son fronting as a black to get into the White House) both funded Duke-NUS Singapore. As far as is known, Mengla has not been proven in these current infections nor in any previous human infection.

badger2, could explain why we do not see any other/more news on the "supposed" Mengla-spread in China; CIA made up a story...

Most likely could try to further disrupt the Bejing Winter Olympics...Now I think such events should be stopped because of the pandemic, not because they are in China...
