This is an interesting article in the UK press today talking about Omicron in an HIV patient in South Africa who harboured the virus for more than 6 months and what scientists observed, and what they fear might happen in such cases.

I know I am waiting for a deadlier version....I mean historically that is what would happen.  I think we have gotten better with medicine and timelines for treatment but at some point, something more sinister will come along!
