Should names and pic of infected be posted. I think They should have been from the start. So if you came into contact with them you would have been tested right away. Not running around infecting others till you were tested.  I think this would have cut down on the spread of it. Most peole would have  self-quarantined so they would not infect famly or friends.

How do we know that some of the infected people even knew they had it whilst they were infectious ?.  Testing a nation is a hugh undertaking given the upshot of what you are saying. Surely, the focus is on vaccination development in the long term. In the meanwhile we need to be vigilant about contracting and potentially spreading the disease.!


On a separate issue, would there be a data security issue. I mean, there are scammers out there who would love to capture personal details and hijack our profile ?!.

All I am saying is if they put just a Name and pic upon a list and the state. No personal data. If you know you were close to them , you could or would take steps yourself.

Yes, just a photo ID with name and city and state would be fine.  Just something people could show that they have antibodies.  Now how long they have the antibodies is a question no one can answer.  This could be like the common cold that is why we need a vaccine and maybe a new vaccine every year like the flu.  So much we do not know.

Nope given that the survivors have all talked about getting death threats when they come home.  Those on the cruise ships and transported from overseas have all said the same thing.

Sad but true and they shouldn't have to be put through that.

The biggest stumbling block I see with this would be a violation of HIPAA. Even if you just had a photo, it would still identify the patient.

Considering there's already been violent crimes committed against Asian people because the attacker associated them with coronavirus, this would be a very unfair thing to do to people. One could easily see someone using information like that in what they would justify as revenge.
