We just found out that my wife's sister tested positive.  She received the results yesterday.  She lives alone.  We have not been around her in over a month.  My wife, myself, and son have been practicing social distancing for about 5 weeks, but my wife took her sister to a doctor appointment about a month ago.  We have N95 masks and gloves.  We are concerned about her, as we are all very close.  She does have underlying health issues, is 60+, and lives in the same small town as us.  We will be delivering food and other necessities to her.  Our plan is to leave the items on her driveway outside of her house.  We made our first delivery today.  Her doctor ordered a Pulse Oximeter for her.  My wife picked this item up at a CVS drive-thru.  The Pulse Oximeter measures temperature and oxygen levels.   My wife and I feel like germophopes to the extreme.  We have written procedures for any interaction with items that others have touched.  We review these guidelines before handling any items that have potentially been touched by others.  We plan out each interaction.  We use gloves and isolation of items.  We will be making a delivery of food to my wife's sister  tomorrow.

Sounds like you’re doing all the right things, and taking all necessary precautions.
Fingers crossed you guys have a good result, and your sister in law has a mild case, as most people do. Let us know how she’s doing.

Wow I guess you have test in Texas, here in California you have to be dying to get checked. And I don't know if they will even give you a test then. Anyway it sounds like your doing all the right things for your sister in law. Hope for the best.

Update on my sister-in-law:

She is now doing a whole lot better now.   It was a scary time there for about 5 days.   Extreme body aches, high fever, extreme coughing fits, diarrhea, vomiting, unable to hold down liquids, dehydration, and horrible migraine headaches were what she experienced.  These experiences were not like a normal virus.  They went on for about 5 days.
