That puts us roughly 2 weeks behind Italy.  Sadly i bet we dont use those 2 weeks as wisely as we should.

No we won't. Health-care has, by and large, always been reactive in UK.

I speak for me but I sense real fear on the streets, especially after Italy's decree in Lombardy. Supermarket s in UK now beginning to ration some stuff. 🐱🐱🐱.

I'm hearing again and again that people will carry on as normal, either because they are young, healthy or both, or have to, or they don't give a S***.

Wake up call:

No guarantee the young won't be affected, especially when the serious cases mount up.

Im just not sure how things are gonna go in the UK,  hospitals (less ITU beds than most 1st world), services (presumably run with as thin a margin as everything else) or society as a whole.

I have this nagging feeling that the goverment would accept us die in our own home quietly, hence they will do anything to keep power, water and internet on rather than being on the streets.

My Asda order for Wednesday included tp.  Not any more - sold out!  Good job I have so much in store already.  Stocking up on extra facial tissues and kitchen paper towels to be sure.  Buying paper napkins too.
