I think the article shows the problem that most people feel the vaccinations are, and should be, 100% effective.  No vaccine is at that level.   

Having said that, depending on the study (and these seem to have been affected by different variants), the Chinese vaccine is not the most effective.  It is still much, much better than nothing, but we should expect some reinfections.  One of the main questions is "is the vaccine effective enough to help bring the R-rate below 1?"

Although there is no proof that they did (yet), I think you could well be right, Usk.  This virus could not be better at destroying socities (especially those with freedom and the love of it) if it had been designed that way.  So perhaps it was.  Also the authorites ordered a massive second deep clean just before the WHO team turned up to investigate.  That was extremely suspicious too.

It is also possible to design a virus very likely to mutate into a more nasty strain, bioweapons research has long tried for this in lots of different ways.  There would be no guarantee that this is what it would do, but you could load the scales.  Guess what covid did?
  

Sadly, I don't think we can ever prove it.  We are too late looking and China is too determined to cover anything up that could make them lose face.

On balance of probabilities, I think it did come from a lab;  that could have been an accidental release, or a deliberate one.    Either way, I definitely blame China.  Not Chinese people, but their power elite.  Lab grown, Lab escaped, or wet market born,  it spread because of Chinese cover-ups and now we can't prove exactly the source, because they covered that up too.  So much for the lessons they claimed they had learned after SARS 1!

(Why did they stop using mustard gas in WW1,it killed all sides ,when the wind blew different direction)

I think that the sinovavx  vaccine is obviously not up to the job , the bigger worry for me is if a vaccine is not able to kill virus , ultimately the virus will become more resistant to vaccines.....

trying to keep it quiet,but in the end we all see how the Chinese reacted , building hospitals in days,but the minute it reached Italy that's when the s..t hit the fan for me......

I do blame China for not closing their borders sooner ,but that could be said for every country ,Bar New Zealand,and Australia.......we closed and are still closed...... thankfully....

Well if I ran an overpopulated country like China, I'd want a disease that will wipe out the most vulnerable people and the aged, because these are the people who are the biggest drain on the economy (in terms of paying out benefits and pensions and in terms of the cost of their health care). If you could run a disease a few times through your population and cull out the weakest, you will ultimately be left with a stronger population. And if you look at China, they are demographically top heavy with old people and they have comparitively few younger people paying taxes to support the elderly - as is the case in most Western countries. 

The problem with our advanced health care systems is that we strive to keep people alive at all costs because we can, not because we should.
