Welcome to all new people. We are hoping that long time peppers on AFT will keep adding to this area of the forum. Here we are trying to inform you of places that sell supplies for emergencies.

Many of these sites sell food, water containers, water purifiers, first aid kits, 72 hour kits, crank flashlights and much more.

Do not get overwhelmed read and learn. The more you learn you will have questions, please ask your questions and we will be happy to tell you what we know.

To all you members of AFT please add your sources to this area it is our chance to be able to help others starting out.

I look forward to seeing some new sites...exciting!

Thanks everyone!

Boy Scout catalogs on line or just go to a store.

Camping stores or camping and hunting fishing departments at walmarts, targets.

Buy plenty of those one dollar raincoats you can buy all over, they work well with rubber bands and a few cuts here and there as bio suits to wear when tending the sick, or going into any area where you may be contaminated, virus can cling to clothing. The cheap raincoats are nice because they provide head coverage also. They are really ponchos. They are huge and you can make a few cuts to wrap around your arms, and legs. Then when you come in from some contaminated area throw them away.

Or, have large bags big enough to ziplock them into and write the date it was worn or exposed on it, after  thirty days the virus should be dead. So you can recycle them. It is dangerous and keep your face mask on the whole time and your gloves until it is safely zipped in the bag.

If this got so bad that we can not get supplies, we will have to eventually begin to re use some things.

vet stores on line have many meds that can be used for people.

pharmacies from other countries, some from India sell the drugs we get here in America for a lot less then we pay. you have no way of knowing if they are any good. If that was the only option I had I would get some and try them to see if they were any good before I put in a big order.

Garage sales

also look at what you have in your home and ask yourself what could you use things you currently have for. Things like spoons or knives can be used as tongue depreesors. Sheets cut become bandages, crazy glue stiches, wax paper is dishes, a box with tin foil is a oven. Old refrigerator is a oven.
kiddie swiming pools a way to save water
beauty supply stores sell peroxide, razors, capes for keeping adults clean. Long bands of cotton.
remember you can use baking soda for so many things besides cooking, it is also cheap toothpaste.
Ebay has about everything on it.

If you have any friends that are Mormon ask if they will purchase the wheat in #10 cans. It is getting increasingly harder to obtain, but I have been able to get some that way.

Home Depot and Lowe's have N95 masks in bulk for welders both with and wothout vents. Gloves at Sam's and Costco. Also if you get involved with the citizn emergency corp at your lcounty, you can get supplies.

THere are multiple online stores for Tyco gowns that also can be purchased in bulk in different sizes. The hospitals have to restock because of datind issues, contact them ask ask for their discards....
