It is always important to read the media summary because the media will likely never read the entire document, and this gives you a filter to judge the coverage.

Does this sound reasonable to you?

"Susceptability to pandemic influenza virus will be universal."

and

"Clinic attack rate will be 30%"

Are they thinking that 70% of us won't be exposed to it?

This National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza (Implementation Plan) is the first implementation of the new National Response Plan pursuant to HSPD-5 and HSPD-8 that I have seen, with a totally awesome list of tasks, assignment of responsibilities, and performance measures. Wow!
