and for water if you have a creek

google other stuff.. but there are lots of ways to get alternative energy.

Not to mention you could make a hydrogen separator and use the stored hydrogen for cooking. Granted it takes power..

This has some good articles and links. It also shows some basic designs you can make yourself with moderate fabrication skills. They also sell everything from complete units to kits and components.
